White tattoo on Asian (yellow-toned) skin??
Question for tattoo artists and enthusiasts:
How does white tattoo fare on Asian yellow-toned skin? I was thinking of getting one!
Because the ink sits under the layer of skin that holds the pigment, any colour will be tinged with the colour of your skin. So white ink stays closest to white on people with very white skin, and the darker your skin, the less white the ink will look.
As has been said, entirely white tattoos don’t work very well on anyone, especially those with darker skin. For highlights, it won’t be pure white but it’ll be close enough and it will still achieve it’s purpose of highlighting the darker colours.
