Is it ok to put two female bettas together???

will my two bettas fight if i put them together in the same tank plz i need answers from people that have bettas :/

they will fight at first but that it them working out their hierarchy. you will notice which female is the boss right away.
i would get 3 or 4 at the very least. make sure u have the right sized tank for the bettas to swim around in and make sure there are plenty of hiding spots.

i have a beta fish and I know that two cannot be put together under any circumstances even if they are both the same gender. They are japanese fighting fish and will kill each other. Dont even put their fish bowls next to each other or they will keep banging into the glass to get to each other that they will kill themselves. Keep them at seperate places in the room, or in seperate rooms. My beta even gets angry when I put my finger near the water, because he thinks that it is another beta. The reason I say that you cannot put them together under any circumstances is because, male bettas are never kept in tanks together because they fight to the death in most situations. Females are a little more passive and with some work and special care they can sometimes be kept together in a community type setting. But please remember that each individual fish is different and has its own unique personality and level of aggression. There is no certain tank set up or number of females that will guarantee that your tank will be peaceful and even though you may have a placid easygoing tank one day, you may walk into the room the next day and find half of your females dead or dying because one of them was having a bad day.
