Alcohol and liver problems? When does it happen
hello i have a question, how long does a person have to drink to begain to have liver problems, is it somthing that happens over time or if someone where to let say drink a 12 pack 3-4 times a week for 5 months, would they have liver problems right away or would it have to go on for a long time, Also what are the symotoms of liver damage. On a another note, is itching a problem that alcohol can pose to a person following a night of heavy drinking?
Its called Cirrhosis of the liver. the amount of alcohol varies from person to person and between men and women. it takes a long time for it to damage your liver but when that happens alcohol is only a part of the problem. and yes itching is one of the symptoms
